Strolls along roads beneath the Kochi metro create a captivatingly romantic atmosphere. "Mayaanadhi" ("Mystic River") is a complex romantic thriller that tells a realistic and poetic story of love involving young people living in urban Kerala. Even as Mathan’s survivor diminishes, Appu's spirit continues to battle and maintain hope. Viewers are left feeling somber, persistently affected by the destinies of those within this world, which feels both dreamlike and intensely real.
