This is certainly not what you’d call a romantic comedy—and that’s actually a positive aspect. The marketing for this film is misleading. Romance exists within the story, and there are moments of humor, but it's simply not structured as a rom-com. Instead, viewers get a two-hour exploration of philosophical ideas centered on topics like personal worth, what things are truly valuable, and materialism, all seen through the experiences of three deeply imperfect people. As someone who tends to be cynical, I found that aspect appealing. It would have been quite simple to create a typical romantic comedy with actors of this caliber, but thankfully, the film proved far more intelligent and engaging. My only real criticism is the ending; in my opinion, it felt out of place with the rest of the narrative and somewhat contrived. Despite that minor issue, it’s still quite good. It earns a rating of 9/10 stars.
