We saw this movie in theaters recently, having anticipated something really good based on what others had said. Afterward, we just felt like saying "that's it"—it was simply an average film. The audio quality was a real problem; there were times when it was difficult to hear anything. There wasn’t a natural progression between scenes either. While the performers weren't bad, they seemed to be going through the motions, like just another paycheck job. I wasn’t looking for a religious message in the movie and was willing to consider new ideas that might challenge long-held beliefs. It surprised me to learn later that Mary Magdalene had once been labeled as a prostitute, and it wasn't until 2016 that the Catholic Church reclassified her as Apostle of Apostles—something the film didn’t mention.
