This is a decent movie about 'Mary Kom'. Like many biographical films, it does deviate from the facts to some degree, but in a way that works because the narrative itself is quite engaging. I think it could probably benefit from being trimmed down by twenty or thirty minutes, though; even with that, the film’s rhythm felt acceptable—the depiction of her boxing journey keeps things moving forward. Priyanka Chopra delivers a strong performance as the central character, and Sunil Thapa provides good support in his role as Singh. Darshan Kumar is also dependable as Onler. Overall, the acting is adequate. The soundtrack fits well with what’s happening on screen. You don't have to be into sports to appreciate this film; it's worth seeing.
