I really did enjoy 'Mars Needs Moms'. The story itself is pleasant; it’s not amazing or anything like that, but I think it achieves what it set out to do because of the strong connection between the central character and his mother. I would say the voice actors generally deliver solid performances, particularly Dan Fogler as Gribble. Seth Green/Seth Dusky (Milo), Elisabeth Harnois (Ki), and Joan Cusack (Mom) are all perfectly acceptable too. The science fiction elements aren't fully developed, but what’s present works well enough to support Milo’s storyline. The final scenes have some emotional weight; I became invested in the characters, that’s just how I feel about it. I also appreciated the animation style, especially when depicting the human characters. It does look a little odd at times, though. I'd give it a rating.
