Marry Me isn’t pushing any boundaries for romantic comedies, but the performances from the main actors, well-developed characters, and a really good soundtrack combine to create something enjoyable. Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson have unexpected chemistry together, and both give wonderful performances; they manage to keep you watching even when the story feels predictable and familiar. John Bradley and Sarah Silverman also add to the film’s cheerful tone. The movie does a decent job of showing what it's like to be famous versus living an ordinary life, and how being in the public eye can restrict someone's freedom is arguably the most engaging part of the story. If you enjoy this type of movie, I suggest checking it out. Rating: B
