Denzel delivers an exceptional performance, as he typically does, and while many of his films are excellent, this one resonated with me particularly strongly now that I have children. I can’t imagine possessing such intensity if my own child were ever threatened. Everything about it—the visuals, the editing choices, the performances, even the moments of brutality—feels precisely right.
