I watched this a few days back, and I’m still questioning whether my rating is justified. I gave it an average score, but now I'm wondering if that was too generous. Some movies stay with you for days after seeing them; this one didn’t have that effect at all. The performances were solid, and even the script showed promise, although its structure felt disjointed as different parts unfolded in a seemingly arbitrary order. When viewed together, it just doesn't work. It was disorienting for most of the film's length. But then a plot development occurred which wasn’t what I anticipated. The narrative follows an American soldier who served in Afghanistan and has returned home after something went wrong during his deployment. He struggles to deal with the fallout, and it’s clear he’s not the same person he was before leaving for military service. The narration shifts through different points in time, and eventually, near the end, everything connects. The story concludes without fully explaining what happened. The acting was fine, but the plot didn't quite hold up. It was especially the editing that layered multiple events on top of each other, which created a sense of intrigue, even though the resolution felt underwhelming. I suspect many viewers would figure out what was going on much sooner. Some people may appreciate it, but most likely won’t. I’m not sure how it could have been improved, and honestly, I didn't find it enjoyable. _5/10_
