It was an enjoyable film, though I don’t think I’ll revisit it anytime soon, and I'd suggest it to people who are familiar with the initial installment. I want to state upfront that this sequel measures up to its predecessor; it feels like a seamless continuation. However, those unfamiliar with the first movie probably won't find it as entertaining. The original cast is back, clearly having fun in their roles, and the audience seems to be sharing that enjoyment. A new occurrence introduces several fresh faces, keeping things lively. I appreciate the creative direction they chose; however, the scope of what’s presented feels so over-the-top that it's hard to envision a satisfying continuation. It almost felt like the filmmakers were thinking, "We aren’t making another one, so let’s go wild!" There isn’t much I can fault, but there’s an upper limit to how much I—and likely many other adults—can appreciate it. I'd generally suggest this for a younger crowd.
