It's an enjoyable film that I’d happily view again and feel comfortable suggesting. Jennifer Lopez really drives the narrative forward, even with all the supporting characters designed to push her story along—Bob Hoskins is among them. He delivered a solid performance, though not spectacular, and his absence is noticeable. The plot itself is well-constructed, and much of the character conversations and interactions are charming, but the conflict between working-class individuals and the wealthy feels somewhat overdone for what's intended to be a romantic comedy. Ultimately, Jennifer Lopez’s attractiveness resolves everything. I doubt that gives away too much. I would have liked to see more focus on his efforts to win over a stranger and more vigorous action from the antagonist. However, the typical elite response of “I’ll get you fired, do you know who I am?” feels fitting enough. Although I believe it's worth seeing, there are numerous other options available, certainly more so than "Gigli" or "The Wedding Planner."
