A truly idiotic comedy. It seemed poised to be quite good, given that it possessed nearly everything needed for success—the visuals, the cinematography, and so on. Catherine Hardwicke’s direction is humiliating. This film feels like a pointless expenditure of resources; it had the potential to be an enjoyable comedy but falls short due to being "frivolous."
