The film functions exceptionally well as an artistic showcase highlighting stop motion's capabilities. However, when considered as a narrative, it resembles the musings of a gloomy adolescent, sketching out feelings of despair and disillusionment. The symbolic representations of real-world concepts—such as employment, healthcare, armed forces, life cycles, and faith—generally don’t surpass that level of emotional depth. Despite this, I would prefer to experience this technical achievement in filmmaking over another predictable movie filled with tired tropes. It's an unforgettable work, and the conclusion is particularly rewarding because it moves into a surreal and philosophical realm. A word of caution: watching while under the influence of drugs could lead to severe anxiety.
