It's structured into three separate stories; the first follows a man who resides on the second floor and avoids using the elevator, until circumstances force him to confront that habit. During this time, he encounters a nurse during her break and they form a friendship that extends over several days. The next segment introduces an American astronaut as a temporary resident alongside an elderly immigrant woman. The final story focuses on a teenage boy’s budding friendship with an actress who has recently moved in next door, highlighting their connection despite the generational difference. The combination of dramatic elements and comedy, along with the strong performances, elevated the film. Michael Pitt also appeared in it. There’s some gentle satire directed at both the American space agency and Hollywood's high-production films. This feels like another movie that has flown under the radar. It doesn’t necessarily warrant widespread attention unless you’re a serious film enthusiast. However, if you're looking for something different, I would recommend it; it likely won't let you down. People often seek out movies with well-known actors, but smaller films like this can sometimes offer a better experience than those big blockbusters.
