I went in with cautious optimism, not really expecting much from a PG-13 horror film, but it turned out to be quite enjoyable. While the violent scenes are concentrated towards the latter part of the movie, the initial storytelling and character introductions were unexpectedly captivating. The process of bringing M3GAN into existence and observing her bond with the other characters effectively built suspense for when she would start acting on her own. I honestly wished it had gone on longer; it was a genuinely good horror film, especially considering its rating. A solid 9/10.
