This film has a comforting quality, similar to rediscovering beloved Pixar films from around a quarter-century ago—it’s as cozy as an old blanket. It's a pleasant movie with a positive theme. John Lasseter coming back to animation felt like a return to the kinds of stories Pixar used to tell in the nineties—stories full of optimism about building strong connections and finding your place within a family. There were funny parts, and moments that evoked emotion. It didn’t quite reach the heights of *Toy Story* or *Finding Nemo*, but it's still enjoyable. My youngest child wanted to watch it again right away when it finished, and she was delighted by the whimsical characters and vibrant settings. I expect we will be watching *Luck* repeatedly around here for some time.
