It's framed as a romance, yet seems to actively dislike itself. While I thought both Yeun and Stewart delivered strong performances—they are undeniably talented performers—the film didn't resonate with me. It felt overwhelmingly gloomy and frankly, pretty dull; it was easily my least favorite movie of the Sundance Film Festival.
