I really liked *Love Hurts,* primarily because of its engaging action sequences, a solid cast, and a well-managed 83-minute length. There are definitely some drawbacks; for instance, the narration feels awkward at times, and it leans into sentimentality a bit too much in places. However, those problems didn’t bother me much at all. I would suggest checking this out and would gladly watch it again—I suspect its replay value is quite high. The action itself is fantastic to witness; there's some impressive stunt work on display that’s very satisfying to see play out. Ke Huy Quan delivers a strong lead performance, and he’s well-supported by Ariana DeBose, who has been working steadily recently—which I appreciate. Daniel Wu, Marshawn Lynch, André Eriksen, and Sean Astin are all perfectly fine as well. Mustafa Shakir stands out alongside Quan and DeBose; he's probably the strongest character overall in terms of his appearance and mannerisms. It’s possibly just me, but he bears a striking resemblance to how I imagine Scar from *The Lion King* would look and sound—I can’t ignore it. If Disney were ever to attempt something like *Cats*, he should be their choice for the role. It does occasionally lack logic and gets overly goofy, that's true. Nevertheless, I had a good time with it.
