I’ve watched this film multiple times throughout the years, and it remains enjoyable. The plot involving Colin Firth felt a little disjointed, but it was pleasant enough. It really boasts an excellent cast—Alan Rickman, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy, and Hugh Grant were particularly memorable—and has warmth, appeal, and humor that’s suggestive without being vulgar. This is a wonderful film to watch for either Christmas or Valentine's Day. **4.0/5**
