It’s an enjoyable film that I wouldn’t mind watching once more, and I feel comfortable suggesting it to others. The show does come across as somewhat old-fashioned when compared to the newer "Lost in Space" program, and it takes a noticeably different approach than the original television series. The actors are all good, though they don't entirely click together, particularly considering that the story centers on what’s meant to be a close family. Mat LeBlanc was unexpectedly capable in action scenes, while Lacey Chabert seemed more irritating than I anticipated. William Hurt, Heather Graham, and Gary Oldman gave dependable performances as well. Ultimately, it doesn't exceed my expectations significantly. There are some intriguing moments and visual effects, but nothing particularly memorable that will stick with me. I enjoyed myself overall, and would watch it again; however, a more contemporary or better-made version of this concept, similar to "Voyager," would be preferable.
