This is simply my top choice among David Lynch’s movies. I first experienced the film in a cinema, and the lighting was so unusual and confusing that occasionally I questioned whether some strange external light was shining on the screen. It was exceptionally odd. There are more unexpected developments than you'd find on any road trip :P. It’s enjoyable to attempt to figure out precisely what transpired, but in my opinion it’s even better not to know—each time I watch it again, I might notice or consider or sense something new.
