This release is simply not viewable. Something went wrong either with how the film was shot or in the editing process; whatever the cause, the Blu-ray presents a jumbled and inconsistent picture. The gamma levels seem completely out of control. Dark scenes fluctuate wildly between being nearly invisible and appearing as shades of gray. Daytime footage appears too bright initially, but is then dimmed to about three-quarters intensity and suffers from crushed blacks that are artificially lightened into grays. To complete the unpleasantness, a strong blue tone permeates everything, making it appear even worse. I’m willing to reconsider if they create an improved version in the future, but right now, it's impossible to watch; it’s genuinely painful to look at.
