This film is dreadful, crafted by someone who seems to lack any compassion or ethical sense. Initially, it attempts humor with a rapid succession of jokes that don’t land at all. The cinematography appears to be handled by someone with impaired vision; visibility is severely limited for most of the runtime. The narrative then takes a turn as the central character transforms into a sadistic killer, and this behavior isn't just accepted but presented as something amusing and worthy of encouragement. Any perceived slight against Lisa justifies murder, followed by mockery and celebratory dancing at the victim’s expense. I can't recall another film that plumbed such depths of moral depravity since Natural Born Killers; however, that earlier work offered a satirical commentary on society’s fascination with death and brutality. This production simply embraces those same elements without any irony or remorse. It’s deeply unsettling. It’s disturbing to think something this objectionable could be made now without someone sane intervening. I would honestly prefer my kids watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre than being exposed to this onscreen garbage.
