It’s a sweet movie. *Lilo & Stitch* is brief and uncomplicated, yet still manages to make a delightful and lasting impact. It’s remarkable how well it connects with viewers; I found myself really invested in the central characters. Daveigh Chase as Lilo, Tia Carrere portraying Nani, David Ogden Stiers playing Jumba, Kevin McDonald as Pleakley, and of course Chris Sanders voicing Stitch, all deliver excellent performances. Their vocal work is fantastic—I especially enjoy it. Even some of the smaller roles, like Zoe Caldwell’s portrayal of Councilwoman, Kevin Michael Richardson's Capt. Gantu, and Ving Rhames' Bubbles, stand out. It has a really nice feel to it overall. The animation isn’t groundbreaking; it’s enjoyable to look at, but not spectacular. The soundtrack is a surprising highlight, though—who would have thought Elvis Presley’s music would be such a perfect fit? That was an inspired decision. It might not be among my favorite Disney animated features, but it's certainly up there with the better ones. I think you should check it out if you haven't seen it yet.
