The current wave of movies centered on space exploration is something I’ve pointed out before, and this film fits right into that pattern—though not every entry in the genre finds success. It proved to be a satisfactory movie when viewed through a realistic lens, but it also provided solid entertainment value. The plot was quite suspenseful, particularly as it progressed toward the final moments. The story unfolds with a small group of characters entirely within an International Space Station orbiting Earth, alongside a laboratory facility. They’ve transported a soil sample from Mars to search for indications of life. What should have been a momentous discovery turns into a dangerous situation when they face life-threatening problems aboard the station. The remainder of the film concentrates on how the mission will conclude. Interestingly, this is the second movie I've encountered with the same title recently. The first was a biographical drama featuring Robert Pattison, but this one falls into the science fiction thriller category. Despite having several well-known actors involved, it didn’t generate a significant amount of attention and was generally regarded as a worthwhile fictional space film, drawing inspiration from similar movies. It delivers numerous thrills, a brisk pace, a straightforward narrative, and pleasing visuals, all directed by the Swedish filmmaker known for 'Easy Money.' There were many theories about potential connections to other films, but those claims haven't been verified by the production team. I’d like to see a continuation of the story, although it would likely be set in a different location. I found it enjoyable and would recommend it if someone asked. _7/10_
