Life After Fighting proves to be a martial arts action movie from Australia that rises above what’s typical. Even though it seems the filmmakers operated with limited resources, Life After Fighting still manages to present a reasonable story supported by solid performances. However, the truly impressive element of this film is its exceptionally well-executed martial arts sequences. These scenes become increasingly intense and violent as the movie unfolds. The film maintains a brisk pace throughout, though I thought the level of violence might have been reduced slightly without diminishing the focus on action. Ultimately, if you’re a fan of martial arts films with tight pacing and skillful choreography, this one is definitely worth seeing.
