Those who’ve experienced *It Follows* will likely recognize many elements in this film. Nevertheless, it surpasses *It Follows* by providing an explanation for the events unfolding onscreen. Consequently, the characters feel more understandable, and the suspense feels more realistic than the sudden frights present in *It Follows*. The performers deliver strong performances, and the director’s work is excellent. The special effects are skillfully created, and the detached behavior of some minor characters amplifies the feeling of isolation endured by the main group. It's worth seeing.
