I’m not usually drawn to survival thrillers, but I decided to check this one out, hoping it might be reminiscent of those 1980s horror-thrillers made on a small budget. The initial premise was decent, although some of the performances felt overdone—particularly the male lead, who seemed like a stereotypical bro type similar to Owen Wilson. The actress in the main role was okay, I suppose. Still, there’s a moment where I just stopped caring because it becomes an endless series of scenes set in the snow, with her constantly fleeing from whoever is hunting her. I really wanted to see her take some initiative, but that didn't happen. The plot depends heavily on chance and lucky breaks. It earns **2.5/5**. Also, I’m puzzled by how the killer knew about a different couple—not the ones in this film, but from years before—and their involvement with the central event of the story.
