It turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable. A collaboration between Happy Madison Productions and Netflix for an animated movie didn’t exactly inspire excitement, so I went into 'Leo' expecting it to disappoint. Fortunately, my expectations were misplaced. It successfully blends substance with comedy; I found myself laughing quite a bit. My initial concerns seemed justified the moment Adam Sandler began voicing his part in this 2023 film, as the character’s voice sounded like it might be irritating. But once again, that wasn't what happened—he manages to pull it off and even exceeds expectations. Bill Burr is also a welcome addition to the cast, and the other voice actors are good as well. The musical aspects aren't ideal, but thankfully they don’t detract from the film significantly. It’s an unusually impressive movie.
