It makes for captivating viewing. *’Lee'* feels exceptionally crafted and features a superb cast. As others have mentioned, the fact that another 2024 film, *'Civil War,'* includes a character drawing from Lee Miller makes the arrival of this movie—which centers on the remarkable photojournalist—even more noteworthy. Kate Winslet delivers an outstanding performance as Miller, which is really no surprise; she’s impressive throughout the nearly two-hour runtime. It was overdue for a biopic like this to be made, and while it delves into some difficult subject matter, it's certainly a story that needed to be told.
