It didn’t turn out the way I hoped it would. There are times when you find yourself rooting for the villain, and this film is one of those instances. Certain elements felt incomplete; for example, there wasn't enough development regarding Clyde’s background as a clever inventor maintaining a hidden existence. A few scenes showing him working in a lab with a concealed entrance would have been beneficial. Similarly, Nick Rice didn’t seem quite as intelligent as the story suggested. Aside from those shortcomings, it does manage to keep you guessing, primarily driven by curiosity about Clyde's plans and his attempts to correct what he perceives as flaws within the legal system.
