The movie doesn’t offer much substance and seems primarily focused on criticizing prejudice—particularly that displayed by the Church of Latter Day Saints concerning homosexuality. Wes Ramsey portrays "Christian," an attractive man who effortlessly charms his way through life as a waiter, casually pursuing romantic encounters. The storyline begins when four young Elders move into a nearby apartment, prompting him to wager with his colleagues at the restaurant that he can seduce one of them. He chooses tall and handsome Steve Sandvoss, playing "Aaron," as his target. The film attempts to explore Ramsey’s character's lack of fulfillment and connect it to broader themes of casual relationships and superficiality; however, it largely unfolds as a protracted romance that progresses slowly and concludes in a fairly foreseeable manner. The narrative contains numerous inconsistencies—and for reasons I can't quite grasp, Jacqueline Bisset appears intermittently as the restaurant’s almost saintly owner. Steve Sandvoss is pleasing to look at, which does provide some entertainment value; otherwise, it’s simply another romantic storyline that struggles to gain momentum initially.
