Late Night with the Devil is proof of what’s possible when there's a strong script and great acting involved. David Dastmalchian’s performance stands out immediately; it's truly remarkable in every way. He delivers an impressive portrayal of a late-night interviewer from the 1970s, capturing the essence perfectly. The character feels entirely authentic, and frankly, his work is what initially captivated me and kept me engaged throughout. The narrative itself is also well-crafted. While not groundbreaking, it possesses a good degree of originality and an intriguing ambiguity, particularly concerning the central figure, which generates curiosity. Did this interviewer already enter into some sort of dark agreement? What consequences await him? Watch to find out. There are limitations visible due to budget restrictions, but considering the quality of the cast's performances and the strength of the story, these issues aren’t particularly distracting. Ultimately, it’s a film distinguished by outstanding acting and a compelling backstory reminiscent of the Faust legend. If you appreciate well-made horror, this is one worth seeing.
