There were a few enjoyable scenes, and I appreciated the actors, particularly Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding, who had good rapport together. The plot’s unexpected turn felt contrived, but that's probably to be anticipated given how sentimental this Christmas film is. I found some aspects of it pleasing, mainly because of the performers, though I don’t imagine I’ll want to rewatch it anytime soon—it also feels a little strange to view a holiday movie like this in February. 3.25/5
