Following his unexpected triumph as the “Dragon Warrior,” “Po” was looking forward to some downtime. However, events aren’t allowing him that ease as a vengeful peacock named "Shen" appears with ambitions of global domination. A short look back reveals the origins of his resentment and suggests a shared history between him and “Po,” which might shed light on their backgrounds. The problem is that "Shen" has created an incredibly powerful weapon capable of destroying even the strongest defenses, meaning “Po” and his five closest companions will need to give it everything they have to stop his scheme and protect the country from this peacock whose wit matches the sharpness of his plumage! This series has become my top choice in animated movies. It skillfully combines clever lines with a lot of engaging and vibrant action sequences, and its theme of cooperation and mutual support is presented gently within an exciting world of mythology and adventure. The story moves along rapidly throughout, and while I would have liked to see more of the wise “Shifu,” it’s nearly as enjoyable as the initial film from 2008. It's a genuinely delightful experience.
