It’s true this movie has faced considerable disapproval, but as far as I'm concerned, "Kraven, The Hunter" isn’t poorly made. To begin with, it feels like a genuinely different kind of Marvel film compared to what we usually see. There are no characters decked out in flashy costumes. What you get instead is a more ordinary and convincing protagonist who just so happens to possess unusual abilities that seem natural and connected to the earth—a contrast from things like hammers or lightning, for instance. The action sequences also make sense within the context of the story, set in places I could easily imagine, and the narrative itself unfolds well, even if it follows a predictable structure. Overall, this is among the stronger entries in the Marvel franchise lineup, something I ended up liking quite a bit despite my first doubts. It's worth checking out.
