I really appreciate Feat Pictures for sharing this wonderful, visually impressive, and sweeping Japanese movie with Indonesian audiences; I was completely captivated throughout its runtime. What stood out to me most was how thoughtfully the filmmakers employed music, understanding when to incorporate it and when to use silence instead. Those quiet moments frequently amplified the emotional impact, and that kind of self-control and accuracy isn't something you see often. It’s disappointing that the film’s only Academy Award recognition was for makeup. Numerous other aspects of its production were worthy of acknowledgment, particularly the original music and the gorgeous visuals. The detailed shots are especially lovely to look at. I feel it was overlooked when they announced the nominees for Best International Feature Film. Furthermore, the conflict between the lead characters is very absorbing, and their relationship feels complex and fully realized.
