I honestly believed Mission: Impossible 2 was the absolute low point for Tom Cruise films—until I saw Knight and Day. The one redeeming quality this movie has over MI2 is its self-awareness; it doesn't try to be something it’s not, unlike that earlier film. Regarding the portrayal of Spanish culture and traditions in Seville... I won’t even go there.
