It's genuinely delightful to see *Klaus* offer a fresh and imaginative take on familiar Christmas stories—it’s something I think people should make part of their annual celebrations. The film tells Santa Claus’s backstory in an unexpectedly touching way, and the narrative feels distinct from many other animated movies centered around Christmas. The visuals have this lovely quality that makes it seem like a story unfolding within the pages of an old-fashioned book, and the voice cast does a wonderful job of capturing the playful spirit of the quirky town of Smeerensburg. Watching *Klaus* leaves you feeling warm, reminiscent of Christmases past, and satisfied. It’s definitely going to be a regular feature on our family's Christmas viewing list.
