This action film delivers on gore, violence, and intense sequences, though it’s important to note that it won’t appeal to all audiences. Specifically, those who appreciate dark-toned action with considerable brutality will likely find something to enjoy. The neo-noir aesthetic creates a shadowy, sometimes unsettling atmosphere which may not be suitable for everyone. I want to acknowledge the technical aspects of the film, particularly the Art Director and their team’s work in crafting the setting. It felt authentic and immersive; as a viewer, I could practically step into that world alongside the characters, and they effectively established the desired mood. It's genuinely difficult to create an action movie with convincing fight scenes, and this one managed it quite well. The filmmakers also handled the female lead’s role commendably. The actors delivered performances that were adequate for what the film required; nothing exceptional, but sufficient. I wasn't aware going in that the movie was based on a manga, so fans of that genre might connect with it more strongly—manga isn't really my thing, though. Ultimately, this isn’t an outstanding film, but the production team did a respectable job. As I mentioned earlier, it’s not for everyone; it feels like something you should try and then discard.
