I really enjoyed watching *’King Arthur*! It has everything I look for in an enjoyable movie. I'm drawn to excellent musical scores, and this 2004 release certainly delivers that right from the beginning – a fantastic way to start the film! It wasn’t unexpected at all to discover Hans Zimmer contributed the music; he’s a true legend. There are several actors in it that I recognize from other projects too. Keira Knightley is definitely the best, and Ioan Gruffudd follows closely—he has a great voice for narration, which reminded me of his performance as Henry Morgan in the seriously underrated television series *'Forever*'. Those two were my favorites, although Ray Winstone, Stephen Dillane (who felt like he didn’t have enough to do) and Stellan Skarsgård (who seemed slightly disappointing) also added something positive. I left out one name from my previous comments: Clive Owen, who plays the main character. I have complicated feelings about his portrayal of the role. He delivered most of the speeches well, but I wasn't fully convinced by his acting overall. I think the filmmakers might have been better off casting someone with a more powerful presence to lead this film; Owen felt a little bland to me. I don’t care or want to know how closely it aligns with traditional stories, and I’m only judging it as a movie. Ultimately, I got exactly what I was hoping for: entertainment. 8/10.
