I am genuinely surprised by how entertaining _Killer Sofa_ turned out to be. I’m not sure if I can even label it "good," or suggest everyone should see it. However, if the poster caught your eye and you felt compelled to watch, then you really ought to. It's strange for a film centered around a killer couch, but one of its issues is that it attempts to incorporate too many ideas. You’d assume a simple premise would be easy to handle, yet the movie introduces so much, that by the final section, it stumbles while attempting (and not succeeding) to adequately address everything. The initial two-thirds of _Killer Sofa_ are quite enjoyable. It embraces the central idea without irony, which is actually what makes it successful. The humor comes from its earnestness. _Final rating:★★½ - I found a lot to like, but it didn’t fully come together._
