The film centers on a group intending to hold up a train, but their scheme is complicated by the presence of soldiers traveling with them. I found it difficult to become invested in the characters; they just didn't resonate with me. As a result, the dramatic scenes felt grating rather than impactful. Still, the action sequences are intense, visceral, and graphic. While the recurring trope of characters who appear to be incapacitated returning to battle did grow tiresome, the movie remained consistently engaging.
