It feels like now or never—a mother’s determination! Those who unquestioningly accept what critics say will likely be surprised by this genuinely good movie. I found it quite enjoyable, though I've certainly seen films along these lines before. Over a hundred years of movies have produced countless stories like this one; it’s simply another addition to the collection, but that doesn’t make it bad. People misjudged it. The film moves at an incredibly fast pace, so there isn't much opportunity to analyze or search for imperfections. If you do try to find fault with it, you’re probably not appreciating what’s happening on screen—you’ll miss out on everything and end up criticizing it, just like some movie critics. It's another kidnapping story featuring Halle Berry, reminiscent of her earlier film 'The Call'. The action begins quickly. We follow a mother struggling with divorce and a custody battle who loses her son in an amusement park during a phone call. She immediately starts searching when he’s seen being forced into a stranger's vehicle. From there, the story unfolds on the road, including car chases and a surprise before the end. The script is well-crafted, and the actors deliver strong performances, especially Halle Berry. I haven't witnessed her in such an active role recently. Regardless of the plot’s specifics, it’s an inspiring film about a mother fighting for her child—a powerful display of maternal instinct. Don't go expecting something like 'Taken'; it might not be entirely realistic, but it feels authentic within its cinematic world. Similar things happen in nature too. It’s disappointing that the movie was released after so many postponements and how audiences reacted to it. Trust me, it is a good film, and I recommend it. _8/10_
