While *Just My Luck* doesn’t have much substance, it managed to entertain me. I don't think Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine quite possess the kind of spark that most romantic comedies require, even though they are both pleasant to watch and deliver acceptable performances. I was glad to see them acting in it. It struck me as funny to see McFly—a really good band, at least back then—introduced with "Introducing..." since UK viewers would have definitely recognized them when the film came out. The movie does become somewhat predictable because the story is very straightforward, but there’s just enough present that I ended up having a good time watching it.
