Despite feeling somewhat clumsy and as if it strains for effect, I did find myself liking 'Just Like Heaven'. Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo make an effective team, with Jon Heder leading a capable supporting group. The film moves along nicely in about 90 minutes, containing some genuinely funny moments mixed with more serious ones—most of which work pretty well. Certain elements feel familiar, but not so much that it detracted from my experience. It’s one I'd recommend seeing, as far as my opinion goes.
