It’s remarkable how easily something can slip past you—I really didn't appreciate this film until now. With so many movies coming out in 2015, it’s easy to overlook some gems, and this is certainly one of them. Considering its low budget, it ranks among the top five films of that year. The plot is straightforward, almost lacking any complex reasoning, but it's carried by a dark sense of humor. Most scenes appear carefully planned, yet the movie as a whole proves to be quite entertaining. The story follows a man whose life has been rather bland, who was once rescued by a woman he eventually married. Now they’re going through a separation, and he’s returning to a familiar place in his life. Instead of continuing on that path, he contemplates ending things, creating a 'to do' list beforehand. This leads him back to his hometown to confront what happened before. He begins this journey with the help of a young woman, and the remainder of the film concentrates on those final days. The important thing is that I watched it; as someone who loves movies, I wouldn’t want to miss something worthwhile. It's unfortunate when good films get lost in the shuffle, but thankfully I stumbled upon this one. Now I wholeheartedly recommend it. The acting was excellent across the board—I enjoyed every performance. Sean William stood out particularly well, and Olivia Thirby was charming as always. There were several moments that genuinely made me laugh, some of them quite loudly. It’s hard to believe Courtney Cox directed it; she did a wonderful job. She wrote the screenplay, and I hope she will continue making films with this kind of emotional depth. _8/10_
