It’s like 'A Christmas Carol' combined with 'Groundhog Day'. 'Just Another Christmas' isn't particularly original or innovative, yet it manages to be heartwarming and funny. Leandro Hassum is excellent as Jorge; his comedic experience really shows. He carries the film, though Elisa Pinheiro (Laura) is pleasant as well. I appreciated watching the story develop, and they handled it in a feel-good way with good pacing. I was hoping for more exploration of the themes, particularly considering how Jorge's character changes—it’s largely what you would expect from Charles Dickens’ novella. Nevertheless, it does create some genuinely touching scenes. If there had been a greater sense of novelty and a deeper examination of the subject matter, I might have rated it slightly higher, but there's no question that it's a good movie. It is certainly worth seeing.
