The movie *Jurassic World Dominion* isn’t exactly flawless, though it manages to be somewhat enjoyable. I'm not entirely sold on it, yet I believe there's enough to make it worth a viewing. The film includes too many characters—even the main ones, with both the original group and the newer pair receiving equal attention. That being said, I do like these actors; seeing Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum is nice, and Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard work well together. However, no single character really rises above the rest. They all have their moments, but I'm having trouble recalling any specific highlights for any of them—and that’s likely because there are just so many people involved. The other actors are perfectly adequate, although Mamoudou Athie makes a bit more of an impression than the others. The movie feels too long; I think it could have lost about 30 minutes without losing anything important. The plot itself isn't particularly original—I’ve seen similar stories before (Biosyn… really?), but the constant dinosaur action probably just barely pushes it into a positive rating for me. It could easily be lower, though. I hope this marks the conclusion of the *Jurassic* series (is there anything left to explore?) but let's face it, Amblin/Universal isn’t going to abandon this property.
