This movie is a real find, centering on archaeologists tasked with assessing an unusual theme park. It’s packed from beginning to end with excitement and features some truly innovative visual effects. The performances, though, are quite another story. While Sam Neill and Laura Dern are present, the children involved are exceptionally bothersome; one almost wishes they would disappear (and quickly). Richard Attenborough's accent is baffling – its origin remains a mystery. Bob Peck and Jeff Goldblum manage to do alright, and the dinosaurs themselves are simply stunning. John Williams’ musical score also adds something positive, all of which makes this a film worth experiencing.
