The initial presentation suggests a thrilling science fiction film, but the content itself is profoundly disappointing. Jung-E feels like an exercise in progressive messaging that’s simply dull. The action sequences, which take an excessive amount of time to arrive after prolonged scenes of female empowerment and introspection, are too short and, for me, completely lacking in excitement. Ultimately, don't be deceived by the appealing packaging; there isn't much of substance within.
